Chose The Right Voices

Not all voices deserve our attention when we’re shaping our strategy. In fact, we’re better off ignoring most of them.

So, what type of feedback will help us create the change we seek?

The one that comes from those who understand our constraints and vision. They see not only what we’re doing wrong, but what we’re trying to make right. They care enough about the mission to give honest, constructive feedback.

They’re willing to take risks with us because they have invested in our process. They share our values but don’t hesitate to challenge our assumptions.

Let’s ignore those who criticise without context, who demand from us without understanding our purpose, and who judge our strategy without considering the established constraints.

Focusing on uninformed opinions is selfish to those who truly understand what we’re trying to build.
