If a community shares our beliefs, how can we feed it?
We create value for them.
When we feed a community with value, we create an opportunity to earn permission to connect and engage. That permission earns us more attention which allows us to build trust.
More trust gives us the benefit of the doubt which gives us the chance to feed the community again to create more value and build deeper trust.
This cycle, hopefully, becomes a spiral that builds upward with each round creating more possibility for the next.
Feeding a community isn’t about isolated actions. And the challenge is about consistently creating virtuous cycles that compound value over time.
