Having a clear strategy is just the beginning. Knowing who we want to serve is critical, and understanding what problems we want to solve sets the direction.
But to continuously serve them better, we need to evolve. We need to learn what questions to ask, which signals to watch, what feedback to act on, and what assumptions to challenge.
We need to understand not just who our audience is today, but who they’re becoming. Not just what they need now, but what they’ll need next. Not just what holds them back, but what could help them move forward.
Constant prediction, empathy, and interaction.
This means staying curious. Questioning our expertise especially when it’s working. Looking for gaps in our understanding. Finding blind spots in our approach.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t solving the problem but continuing to ask better questions so we can become the kind of leader who can help others transform and make a change happen.
We’re in the business of serving others which means constantly learning to become someone better in the process of helping them become who they want to be.
