Nothing good comes from it. Not to you and especially not to the world.
It doesn’t mean that we have no moments of joy or celebrations with the people we love. Or that we sleep on the floor and eat raw carrots every day.
It means that we need to challenge ourselves. Get out of our comfort zone, consistently. As a habit.
It means that we question what we do and what we believe because we might be wrong or because things have evolved and we also need to evolve.
It means that we restrict distractions or at least reduce them to a minimum and that we become better at saying no to things, with honesty and generosity, so we can focus on important work.
It is indeed a time when we need to focus on important work. Work that leads others to a better future for the planet, our children, and their children.
Every decision we make leads to an act or a lack of action. Every habit we build or neglect to build leads to a different outcome, a different future. Let’s do it with intention and purpose.
Not the purpose of living a happy and comfortable life but a purpose that leaves a better world behind when we’re not here anymore. A purpose that puts us on a mission to lead and create value.
