Imagine it’s one year from now. Our project has failed. Let’s write that story now before it happens.
Maybe we failed because we confused interest with commitment. Because we thought “likes” and “shares” meant real support. Because we built based on what people said, not what they did.
Or we failed because we tried to please everyone. Diluted our message to avoid criticism. Lost the edge that made our early supporters believe in us.
Perhaps we failed because we didn’t show up consistently enough. Because we got distracted by short-term wins. Because we chose growth over impact.
Or simply because we weren’t patient enough to let trust build slowly. Because we pushed too hard, too fast, thinking urgency would create momentum.
Writing about our failure in advance isn’t about being negative but about seeing clearly what we need to protect.
