The riskiest thing to do is to stay still. If we don’t evolve, experiment, or adapt, we guarantee our eventual irrelevance.
But most of what we think is risky, it just feels risky. The key is to find the edges – places where exploration is possible without existential threat, where failure is instructive, not fatal.
We must acknowledge we’re on a journey to find a solution for a problem we still don’t know how to solve. Therefore, we need to try new approaches, new audiences, and new strategies. Places where we can stretch beyond the comfortable without risking everything.
Finding these edges requires an understanding of where the systems can bend without breaking.
Progress always starts at the edges and never in the comfortable center, but also not in the dangerous void.
